Introducing Earl…
As many of you guys know, this year we have been recruiting and the Individualism Team has now upped its numbers. It’s exciting times here; with a team, we now can create greater, more exciting content.
Here’s a short video that our resident photographer Earl Alburo chucked together. We thought it was a great way for you guys to get to know him a little better. And yes, we said photographer. And he’s a multi-talented guy. And he’s part of our team…!

No Fur-king Way!
We’re onto our fourth week here on Good Look/Bad Look and it’s been hilarious. I would never have thought I’d see so many sins of style upon the streets of London. It’s amazing what you see when you narrow your focus. Cue Tony Robbins….
GOOD LOOK

A lastminute.com MTV party saw me throw together a quick-fit, consisting of a wool tweed shirt, a vintage leather jacket and vintage silk scarf. What I thought worked well was the combination of the formal cravat juxtaposed with a vintage leather jacket. It provides some extra visual interest to the outfit, though a colourful scarf would have enhanced it even more.

We introduce…Sports Casual
There are certain things that will stand the test of time, things that are universally understandable and accepted. And in the fashion/style game, it is terms such as Casual, Smart Casual and Sportswear etc.
To start off , we are introducing the ‘Sports Casual’ dress code. It’s a mix of sportswear and casual clothes and some would argue that it’s simply ‘Smart Casual’, but with such focus on the statement sports pieces (in this case the Nike trainers), the word ’sports’ needed exclusive love.
With this shoot we style up some looks with some classic Nike sneaker styles, showing you a variety of ways in which you can sport them (no pun intended). So gain some Sports Casual inspiration, throw away your tracksuits bottoms and just do it (again, no pun intended).

John Lewis Gilet
This week’s P.O.T.W. comes from a brand that most young fellas would tend to veer away from, but with a revamped website and some great new collaborations, the big JL or John Lewis are upping their style game for 2010.
We’ve always said change is gonna come! It’s exciting times!
This week we styled up their gilet. You know it’s sexy.
Now due to our re-launch, we have been mad busy and so couldn’t get this post up earlier, so unfortunately it isn’t available anymore. Sorry guys. However we did find a very similar style which is available here.
These style shoots are to provide a little stylistic inspiration for you guys. The gilet is fast becoming a staple in every man’s winter wardrobe. And as you know, it’s winter eight months out of our 12 over on these chilly shores, so you’ll be well advised to invest in one.
