The thing about trends is that once something becomes a trend it becomes extremely hard to stand out. And once a trend hits the hightstreet then, well you might aswell give up any attempt to look different.

The deck shoes falls inbetween the lines. Its both a trend and a classic. For those in the know the deck shoe has been a summer classic for decades.A classic design that has held summers hands for years on end. Recently however it has hit the highstreet. The likes of ZARA, TOPMAN, H&M have all litttered their shelves with this iconic nautical piece.

So how do you look stylish and stand out when rocking deck shoes? Well one way is to find a design that sticks to the classic shillouette yet deviates slightly.  The Supraga decks does so through their amazing colour way. The coral/burgandy & off white will defiently help you stand out from your average highstreet joe.

Sporting beige stitching, unlined upper, rubber outsole with sipping for added traction the suprga deck shoe is provides style and substance. The average price of a good deck shoe is roughly £60 and an extra £20 and you can get yourself a great stand out piece.

Top 5 Tips On Buying Men’s Glasses

Posted by aaron on 1 July 2009
glasses

Purchasing eyeglasses can be extremely nerve wracking! There are so many questions that run through your head “will this color work for me?” “Are these frames too big?” “Should I go with plastic eyeglasses or metal? Maybe I should try the bendy titanium ones?!?!” The ladies seem to have it a bit easier - their glasses come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns. So, if the ladies have the best picks - what do the gents get? Well, in years past, men had two different types of frame styles: metal and thick plastic. BORING! This isn’t high school. Your parents don’t buy your eyeglasses for you anymore. Eyeglasses should enhance your look at a fair and reasonable price.

So, how can the every day man break from the mold and choose prescription eyeglasses that make him look like an individual with style and class? It’s easy and it can be done with the help of these 5 tips!

1.  Bring Your Best Friend

While looking to buy your  eyeglasses online bring your best friend with you. Seriously, make them sit next to you through the process! This is the person who will openly and honestly tell you if you look like a dork or if the eyeglasses are hot on you - even when looking at them online.

2. Don’t Break From Your Normal Eyeglasses Style

It’s great to try something new - like choosing gunmetal over black or silver over gold. However, you should never deviate from your own style when it comes to eyeglasses. If you normally wear bold, black plastic frames - stick with them or stick with something similar. Deviating from this will make you a VERY unhappy customer.

In the event that you want a different look, definitely shop online and save yourself some money. Online stores have virtually no overhead, so you can get a great pair of glasses for under 25 British Pounds - perfect for experimenting with your look.

3. Consider Your Personal Style

Are you the jeans and a t-shirt guy? Perhaps you like to wear suits all the time? If you’re a bit more posh - stick with eyeglasses that don’t stand out. If you’re the jeans and t-shirt guy but want to spice things up a bit, aim for dual-toned plastic frames, or even black frames with thinner plastic.

4. Shop Around

Nowadays there’s so much choice there shouldn’t really be an excuse for people to look bad, but somehow people still manage to get it wrong. Your best bet is to shop around the main high-street stores and try on as many pairs as you please. If the prices don’t suit your wallet you can always jump online, the prices on the web are a lot friendly and once you’ve got the psychical testing out the way there isn’t anything to stop you making your cheaper online purchase.

5. Take Your Time While Shopping

I know, it seems simple but don’t ever feel rushed to make a decision. If you’re at a store, walk around with the frames on to see how they wear. Take a nod from the ladies - if you feel weird in your eyeglasses, don’t buy them but if you try them on and you instantly love them - BUY THEM!

Buying eyeglasses no longer has to be a chore or a negative aspect of your appearance. Enjoy the experience! shop around, visit different “stores”, and play around with different looks - all without leaving the comfort of your home. Eyeglasses are the new “hot” accessory in men’s fashion, so get with the times and start being an individual!

Aaron
