Purchasing specs can be extremely nerve-wracking! There are so many questions that run through your head, like “Will this color work for me?” “Are these frames too big?” “Should I go with plastic eyeglasses or metal? Maybe I should try the bendy titanium ones?” The ladies seem to have it a bit easier -their glasses come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns. So, if the ladies have the best picks -what do the gents get? In years past, men had two different types of frame styles; metal and thick plastic. BORING! This isn’t high school. Your parents don’t buy your glasses for you anymore. Your frames should enhance your look at a fair and reasonable price.

I know, it seems simple but don’t ever feel rushed to make a decision. If you’re at a store, walk around with the frames on to see how they wear. Take a nod from the ladies – if you feel weird in your glasses, don’t buy them but if you try them on and you instantly love them – BUY THEM!
Buying specs need not be a chore; enjoy the experience! Shop around, visit different “stores” and play around with different looks – all without leaving the comfort of your home. Glasses are the new “hot” accessory in men’s fashion, so get with the times and start being an individual!
