Individualism 2.0
It’s finally here. Like London’s transport, we have constantly delayed this relaunch but it’s all been worth it. So what have we been getting up to behind-the-scenes? And why has it taken soo long? Well, we’ll spill the Heinz for ya!
1. WEB DESIGN.
We’ve been hard at work creating a light, friendly-feeling website that makes it easier for us to post and you guys to comment, share and get connected.
2. TEAM INDIVIDUALISM.
We now have a small team that you can check out on our ‘About Us’ page. Each member has been hand-picked for their passion, dedication and talent, helping us build and create a better web experience for you guys. (Oh yeah, and relieving the stress off my shoulders a little!)
We’re always looking for people to join in and get creative, so if you have a talent and are knowledgeable in your field, get in contact and you could be our newest team member!
3. PODCASTS.
This has been an absolute nightmare. There are only three men’s style podcasts. WTF? So I thought, why not make our videos more accessible to you guys? Plus I can put it on my iPhone for myself and watch my ugly face all day long!
We have had issues with music etc but we’re finally up on iTunes, so you can pop it onto your iPod, thus making Steve Jobs even MORE money. Nice. (Maybe he should spent it on some better jeans for his presentations. Yea, I know. I’m hating.)
4. NEW POSTS.
Yes, we’ve created some new weekly posts to coincide with the relaunch. Blogs are popping up left, right and centre at the moment and we always take the time to look at our content to see if we’re providing something new and different. Though it would be easier to let us know what you’d like to see.. contact@individualism.co.uk
Here’s what you can expect:
Good Look / Bad Look
One thing I find is that everyday we are learning and trying out new things. And I wanted to get that across and share with you; all the good and bad lessons I learn throughout the course of the week. Good Look / Bad Look focuses on a wide range of things from great shirt and tie combos to shops that you should avoid at all costs!
More importantly, it’s a post where we want YOU to get INVOLVED! Share and exchange sartorial blunders and advice by sending us your Good Look /Bad Looks of the week. The best ones will be credited on the blog. So what are you waiting for? You should know the address off by heart by now!
Brand Watch
This is a post where we interview great up-and-coming brands. From small, bespoke shoe makers in London, to hot streetwear brands in Hong Kong. All our interviews are focused on finding out what they have coming up as well as asking them for some insider style tips in their field of expertise.
5. STYLE SPEED SEMINARS.
Although it’s not exactly related to the blog, it’s very much fundamental to what Individualism is all about. We conducted our very first men’s Style Speed Seminar earlier this month and had a good response. For us, it was a great way to connect with our readers on a totally different level.
These seminars provide us with a new medium in which to educate and teach you about different ways to stand out and stay stylish. As well as creating a community of forward thinking ambitious men whom are all looking to upgrade their lives, not to mention make invaluable contacts.
We’ll also be providing some overseas ‘webinars’ for all you guys who are glued to your computers. So stay tuned fellas.
6. ONLINE STORE.
This is something that we’re especially excited about. Now it’s not open just yet but when it does, we’ll be featuring some great products from some exceptionally talented brands. We have been working hard to bring great designers to the forefront. We’ve seen some great products over the years and are amazed as to why they haven’t been more commercially successful.
So instead of waiting for that to happen we thought we’d give them a helping hand. We’ll be stocking some exclusive collaborations from some future game changers. Many of the products we’ll stock will be very limited so make sure you’re checking back to see what we have on offer!
The store will also be a place where you can get hold of our ‘Style Speed Seminar’ tickets and other Individualism products.
So there you have it. That’s what we’ve been up to. If you have any more questions or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact us at the usual address, contact@individualism.co.uk. Until then.
Stay Stylish.
Aaron.
