Anyone that has a place in their heart for Hackett and Ralph Lauren, has a nice comfy chair next to Hackett and Ralph Lauren in my heart. After Ethan and I exchanged our views on quality shirts, I complimented his amazing tan leather Oxfords which he purchased in Italy.

Never be caught in: The High Street as it’s too busy, enjoys quieter shopping experience

The first thing I noticed as I stepped into Starbucks - to purchase a refreshing strawberry and cream frappuccino - was  Joshua’s stand-out blazer, one that he made himself.

The rest of his ensemble complements his blazer wonderfully; from the blue button-down shirt and elegant watch to the slim navy tie and scissor tie bar. A very classic look with a dash of on-trend, rolled-up fitted jeans.

For all the street wear heads out there, you’ll recognise and respect Jee’s Nike X Hideout Air Footscape Woven sneakers. The same sneakers that had enthusiasts lining up at 4am on the day of their release in Tokyo…I wonder if Jee was there?

Anywho, his gilet is great too, as it ties his look together really well against the navy. And the neck detail on his top - two thumbs up!

A great deal went on in 1975. NBC aired the first ever Saturday Night Live; Charlie Chaplin was knighted and rapper Big Boi was conceived.

GOOD LOOK

There aren’t too many decent style-related iPhone apps, and there’s even less dedicated to men’s style. I was a little disappointed until i discovered the STYLE.COM app. Even though it has a small men’s section within the app, what it does offer more than helps pass the time.

Trawling through images of all the runway shows from the major fashion weeks, I saw this gem and snapped up this quilted/leather jacket. Now all I need to do is earn enough to afford it.

The second picture was taken at my friend’s house. I’m soon to be a one of three godfathers to my friend’s child. Yet before anything has been made official, we were already being outdone by  godfather number two who brought these baby Creative Recreations fresh from LA.

For me, ‘the kid thing’ is a long way away, and although I want to avoid looking like a pretentious ‘rich father’, I still want my kid to have a balance of rags and silks. For all the fathers out there, lace your little ones in the best and nothing’s better than Creative Recreation for kids right now.

Just to clarify, we are concentrating on the black-haired chap in the middle of this photo. He as a long ponytail. Need I say more?

At Individualism, we feel choosing footwear is easy; there are those who collect and follow brands religiously and there are some that don’t. For the people that aren’t too fussed there’s one rule…Keep it simple. You can check out our suggestions here. Don’t, however, go out and purchase these.

If a brand is trying to imitate SKETCHERS then that’s a sign something’s not quite right.
