The past year or so alot of brands have been releasing hiking boots and other (very expensive) clothing that looks like workwear that lumberjacks would wear.

What are peoples opinions on this?

TBH i think some times it looks cool but then it's slightly laughable.

The fact that a real hiker or lumberjack would never splash out that amount of money on clothes that expensive makes this look all the more ridiculous.

    Case in point:

    Thousand £ hiking boots!

  2. Trends take inspiration from everywhere. I believe its the design house that can see into the meaning of the trend and looking at the elements of that garment. With the hiking lumberjack styles its taken from the workwear 'trend' some of the products produced have been great ( you need to look at the details and the functionality of the pieces) some as always are just shit rip offs.

I think YMC do it well your thoughts?
