I just bought some great boat shoes and they are a tiny bit too big for me (they didn't have any smaller sizes). If I wear socks they fit, but without socks they feel like they could slip off. I don't think it looks too bad with socks on as my trousers cover it mostly anyway. But is it a major fashion no no? I don't wanna look a complete twat.
Also, I've heard of socks you can get for these type of shoes, not like trainer socks (I have those and tried them, they look even worse than the normal socks) does anyone know where I can get some?

So whats the deal? Am I cool to wear socks with these things?

Thanks man, I wasn't planning on wearing them with shorts to be honest. My style knowledge isn't great but I can imagine shorts/socks/boat shoes is like sandles and socks...not a good look lol.

I've got some nice chinos to wear with them, I think it looks cool.
