just got me a pair of neutral chinos and just wondering what i should pair them with? any suggestions?

Thats the perfect colour!
Really easy.
The best combo o start with is navy blue or white.
you can wear a plain white fitted T-Shirt. maybe layer that with a navy blazer of cardigan.
Break up the colours with a brown belt.
Even red/salmon works really well. Juts make sure you have a light (white) first layer underneath your colour.

what do you mean by salmon? also what do you make of pin rolls? my mate has suggested maybe a pin roll with some white pumps?

Salmon as in the colour its a light pinky colour.
Pin rolls with pumps is a cool look. Try it out in your room first if you think its you go for it.

I think he's referring to the process in which you roll your cuffs up and ping them together to tapper them a little at the bottom.
And for pumps I believe he means white plimpsole pump trainers / sneakers.

These are from teh TOPMAN Limited Range. So as you can they they are limited and come in a short run. Which means that you gettin a more exclusive item. However £40 is a little steep i think. Plus they are cropped and are meant to be worn high (which is more trend focused). For a more classic chino I'd go for a pair of gap navy blues or dockers.
