How to promote a new streetwear brand with very little marketing budget.

    Hi

    i just started a new streetwear brand called 4 Stripes.The website is www.4stripesfashion.com .My question is how do i promote the brand and the online store with very little marketing budget? any info will help.

    Firstly may we apologies for the great delay. Been a little busy with our relaunch. However thats still no excuse.

    Anyway onto your question.

    Not to sure if we are the exact people to speak to ( you'd probably be better off speaking to a marketing guru) however here are some things we could suggest.

    1. Hit up as many streetwear, mens style/fashion, clothing blogs as possible. To let them know about your product/brand.

    Its extremely important that you DO NOT mass mail them. Come from a personal angle. Find out the names of the people who run the blogs/sites and message them personally asking them if they'd like to feature your stuff on their site or just updating them about your brand.

    2. Hit up PR companies letting them know about your brand. They often need to know as many as possible to help clients in photo shoots ect. That way you can lend them your clothing in exchange for product placement on celebs or mag photo shoots.

    3. Start reading a lot of marketing blogs. here are some obviously examples:

    http://www.ducttapemarketing.com/blog/

    4. Get creative and original, find ways to get your stuff out there and make people aware.

    5. Get on social networking sites i.e. twitter/facebook/youtube make pages for these under your brand name and get stuck in connecting with people.

    6. Comment on streetwear forums but dont sound too pushy about your brand otherwise people will sniff you out be real and slowly mention your brand.

    Its a long term thing. Think short and you'l fail. But if your in it cos you love it you have nothing to worry about.
