We introduce…Sports Casual
There are certain things that will stand the test of time, things that are universally understandable and accepted. And in the fashion/style game, it is terms such as Casual, Smart Casual and Sportswear etc.
To start off , we are introducing the ‘Sports Casual’ dress code. It’s a mix of sportswear and casual clothes and some would argue that it’s simply ‘Smart Casual’, but with such focus on the statement sports pieces (in this case the Nike trainers), the word ’sports’ needed exclusive love.
With this shoot we style up some looks with some classic Nike sneaker styles, showing you a variety of ways in which you can sport them (no pun intended). So gain some Sports Casual inspiration, throw away your tracksuits bottoms and just do it (again, no pun intended).

John Lewis Gilet
This week’s P.O.T.W. comes from a brand that most young fellas would tend to veer away from, but with a revamped website and some great new collaborations, the big JL or John Lewis are upping their style game for 2010.
We’ve always said change is gonna come! It’s exciting times!
This week we styled up their gilet. You know it’s sexy.
Now due to our re-launch, we have been mad busy and so couldn’t get this post up earlier, so unfortunately it isn’t available anymore. Sorry guys. However we did find a very similar style which is available here.
These style shoots are to provide a little stylistic inspiration for you guys. The gilet is fast becoming a staple in every man’s winter wardrobe. And as you know, it’s winter eight months out of our 12 over on these chilly shores, so you’ll be well advised to invest in one.

TOPMAN LFW Preview
On Wednesday last week (February 24, 2010), we headed down to London Fashion Week (LFW) with our newest team member Chris, armed with his beast of a camera, an iPhone and our wits. We strolled straight through the VIP doors (cos that’s how we roll)…and swiftly got chucked out.
After some rapport building tricks and explaining that we were filming for TOPMAN to cover the events from behind-the-scenes, we got in (phew!)
The full video should be up early this week. But for now, here are some pics that we snapped to give you an idea of what’s in store.

The moment we arrived at Somerset House we were snapped by Esquire photographer Paul Hartnett. He liked the pocket detail on the jeans and the flash of watch. It’s a shame that Reuben didn’t take a photo of myself getting snapped (I’ve always told him that the Blackberry is awful for pics!) A litte later we bumped into Big Phil. Big PG. Sir Philip Green, 0n the phone, probably transferring a couple more billion into his account (as he does). Read More

AJANAKU
We first released our trailer for the new look site a few weeks ago and since then, we’ve discovered that the video has been making a little noise around the blogosphere. One blog that recognised the ‘amazing talent behind the camera’ was AJANAKU. Now normally it wouldn’t make sense to feature everyone that linked to us but after browsing their site for a while, we really appreciated the work they were doing.
