Pigtails & Foot Fails
WOW the week runs by so fast. Already it’s Monday which means another reflection upon the previous week. Without further ado…
GOOD LOOK
There aren’t too many decent style-related iPhone apps, and there’s even less dedicated to men’s style. I was a little disappointed until i discovered the STYLE.COM app. Even though it has a small men’s section within the app, what it does offer more than helps pass the time.
Trawling through images of all the runway shows from the major fashion weeks, I saw this gem and snapped up this quilted/leather jacket. Now all I need to do is earn enough to afford it.
The second picture was taken at my friend’s house. I’m soon to be a one of three godfathers to my friend’s child. Yet before anything has been made official, we were already being outdone by godfather number two who brought these baby Creative Recreations fresh from LA.
For me, ‘the kid thing’ is a long way away, and although I want to avoid looking like a pretentious ‘rich father’, I still want my kid to have a balance of rags and silks. This week’s ‘Product of the Week’ is perfect for this time of year. The time between Spring and Summer seems to linger on for ever; it’s as if Mr Sunshine is playing knock down ginger, unwittingly forcing us to come out unprepared for the bitter wind that takes his place the moment you get too far to head back home.
Our answer to this problem is a lightweight Harrington or windbreaker jacket, because as the name suggests, it will keep you warm and fight the winds while not making you sweat bucket loads the moment the bastard sun decides to show its face.
Here at Individualism we always need a slight twist on our week P.O.T.W’s. Take this stylish windbreaker from Orri Henrisson. Dropping in a clean off-white, it’s the perfect solution for your early spring dilemmas. The breast panel is what really caught our four eyes.
It’s not too obvious but again, a nice bit of detailing that lets people know you didn’t just run straight to Gap and pick up the first jacket you saw -it’s something that only comes with a designer garment. Check out the pics to see how we styled this bad boy.
